Building stone for houses is one of the most popular products we provide. We offer both guillotined and handpicked sandstone from our Quarry in Mountcharles.
We have a wide selection of sandstone colours, including brown, cream and blue sandstone. As all of our stone is individually selected, we can offer a mix or concentration of colours to meet each customer’s preference.
Guillotined stone offers a more symmetrical and polished finish whereas handpicked sandstone also known as random rubble which has become more popular in recent years offers a more natural, old style.

We provide sandstone and quartzite for stone walls. Again we can offer guillotined or natural handpicked stone for walls to match a more modern or traditional house style.
Our experience both in the building and supply of stone for walls gives us a unique understanding of the quality and type of stone that’s most effective for this building project. We also provide capping, corner stone and stone for pillars.

A classic look for your home, our handpicked sandstone is beautiful traditional fireplace option for your house whereas cut stone offers a more modern look.
Random handpicked rubble offers a rustic feel, particularly when paired with a natural wood or railway sleeper mantelpiece. We’ve seen a huge increase in stone fireplaces over the last few years, particularly with the number of people adding stoves to their homes for which a stone fireplace is the perfect finish.
